Great article from Susan Goldsmith in the April Issue of Columbus Monthly quoting VENN’s own Mike Bills and his three -installment report entitled , “The Future of Retail in the Age of Amazon” and here and here. VENN raised many of the same concerns expressed in Goldsmith’s expose way back in 2017 regarding Victoria’s Secret’s challenges appealing to younger consumers, and the success of Schottenstein’s competing Aerie brand as well as the challenges that upstart competitors including Third Love, Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty and Target’s Auden brand present to this market leader. The issue is on newsstands now and will be available online in May.
